As these things must start somewhere I thought I'd begin with a picture to prove my cricket watching history - this is me "watching" India vs Australia (1st Test Bangalore Day 1) in October2004. Despite the pictoral evidence to the contrary I'm not Australian but English. I just thought travelling around India watching an entire Test series as neutral observer would be a great way to see India.
In my defence I was jetlagged and coming down with the inevitable bout of Bangalore Belly, which meant watching day 2 on TV from the comfort (and proximity to the toilet) of my hotel room.

This Blog is to allow anyone who is interested to follow my trip around Australia this winter watching the entire Ashes series, from the 1st Test in Brisbane, via Adelaide (2nd Test), a trip on the Ghan to Darwin, Perth (3rd Test), Melbourne (4th Test) ending up in Sydney (5th Test).
My companion on this trip will be a fellow cricketing fan (both player and watcher) Mark Morris who will hereafter be always refered to as Moz.
